Perks of being a registered user

Guests can only view the thumbnails and intermediate pictures. Registered users will be able to click on the intermediate picture and view in it's original size (also save in it's original size), if it is a higher quality image. Registered users are also able to comment and rate, and upload their own pictures in the User Galleries section.

High quality images

If images are over 600px in width you are able to click on them to view and save the larger image. With this version of Coppermine, the window that pops up will downsize so that the image will fit your computer screen. No more scrolling to view the details of the image. Saving the picture will still save in it's original size.

Uploading files

-Only registered members can upload files.

-Click on Upload File in the navigation.

-For the first time you will get a message that reads: "Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files". Click on the button underneath it that says: "Create/Order My Albums".

-In the 'Select Category' drop down, select: 'User Galleries'
-Click on the button: 'New Album'

-Type in a title for your album
-Album is created and placed in a list 

-Highlight the album by clicking on it in that list

-You can edit the album by clicking on the button 'Album Properties', now you can add a description to it if you like.
-When done, click on Update Album.

-Now upload your files by clicking on Upload File in the navigation...

-Select your album in the drop down list.

-Click the browse button and find your pic.

-A progress bar will come up as it’s uploading. Wait for it to complete (when it’s done a thumbnail of the image will show up).

-You can click on the browse button and upload more as you wish (You don't need to wait for previous file to complete upload).

-When done uploading click the 'Continue' button that had appeared.

-You can now edit your files if you wish (you will be redirected to the edit files page)...

-If you happen to get a message saying that you need to login it’s just because it timed out on you. If you click on login and re-login it’ll direct you to the correct page.

You will have full control over your own albums. No other users will be able to upload to them. Please do not upload inappropriate material. I will delete it and you will get one warning. If it happens again, I will delete your entire album(s) and you will be banned from the gallery. Thank you for understanding.
